Amps for 2 Mags

why not for USACI??
Also.... Has anyone else ran this zx2500.1 at .5 Ohms.?? Because I have had some people from Phat Hertz who run them tell me that they go into protect at .5 with little effort, and others say that its fine.?????

Don't trust anyone on the internet about anything;)

You want to know if an amp is good, test it out for yourself. That is the only way to really know what is great and what isn't.

Wow...that sucks for all those people running the 20.1's at 4 ohms...

....Anyone???

And I am not saying the 20.1 is the best amp out. I switched to the SAZ-1500d myself, and for the money I haven't seen any difference in performance as of yet.

But the 20.1 is a beast when wired to .3 and lower, so comparing it to the SAZ-1500d and getting similar results at .5 ohms doesn't mean a whole lot.

mine would shut off if you tried to push it hard before the coil warmed up on the BE when Noah had it.

Then it would turn right back on and keep going. I wouldn't run one at .5 daily. Ever. They definately do rated power at 2 ohms wired. It's been verified with a DMM and clamp meter.

I would choose the 20.1 over the SAZ anyday, yes I have first hand experience with them both.

I believe I done pissed you off somehow....sorry
No, I'm just tired.

Did you go to UD by any chance?? If so what year?

And about testing it myself...yea, dont have money to buy every amp I want. Ill take the bench test results any day. Good enough for me.

Alright back on topic anyone else, what amp for 2 Mags. Weve got people sayin IA 20.1 got the 1500D...

Anyone else?

What do yall think bout US Amps (Merlin) and Hifonics... all those?

I just wanted to hear it from you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. IMO, why buy direct after a while...if you're getting no warranty. Might as well find a used one and go with it. Does the replacement deal go on anyone with an amp or is it only valid to those who purchased it direct? How much does the replacement amp cost? That could be a good selling point //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.
The 5-year replacement goes to the original purchaser only as of right now, although I may decide to make it transferrable like the 2-year limited. The replacement unit will cost quite a bit under MSRP pricing, in the area of $350 or so for an SAZ-1500D -- this will vary based on current unit cost to me, of course, so it will be dealt with when I am contacted for a claim.

Did you have some sort of bad experience with the SAZ-1500D or do you say this since the 20.1 is a more powerful amplifier? If it is the former I am curious what it was since I haven't heard anything negative first hand from any customers, if the latter, then you are right -- the 20.1 is a larger and more powerful amplifier.

Didnt testing just show that this amp was outperformed by 2 other amps..... Stay away from the bandwagon on this amp!
Wasn't that testing performed at a much higher impedance?

Stay away from generalized statements from people that don't know any better...

Nah, those are USAC ratings //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
