Hey guys I figured I would start a thread about having amplifiers in the house, and not in the car. Just wondering what you guys have got lying around collecting dust. They can be operational or not. At the moment I have got three:

Cadence Q4000

Alpine MPR-M350

Soundstream 700sx

All operation to the best of my knowledge. How bout yall?

Soundstream Rubicon 702

Coustic Design Reference Amp-505DR

Coustic Design Reference Amp-505DR

Coustic Design Reference Amp-505DR

(yes, 3 of them)

Coustic Design Reference Amp-510DR

Coustic Design Reference Amp-510DR

Coustic Design Reference Amp-510DR

(yes, 3 of those also)

I *think* that's all that amp's I have laying around.

Wait...a thread about car amplifiers...in the house...but not home audio amps...

I'm confused //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Early 90's Pyramid PB600 - My very first amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/peace.gif.2db28b618ed8d1964ebbe2f5021d2c39.gif -- used and abused and still works fine.

Everything I had that was worth a crap got ebay'd

is there anyway to hook up your car amp in your house without using a battery?
I think everybody asks this question at some point...

A huge AC/DC converter would work, but the ones that can give you more than a few amps or current are many hundreds of dollars, not worth it.

Hmm,

Mtx Blue Thunder pro150x2

Mtx Blue Thunder pro150x2

Mtx Blue Thunder pro400x5

power acoustik 800 watt 4-channel (broken)

Promax 150 watt max amp (what a little powerhouse //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif)

I think thats about it. Oh, and they are all for sale. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

check ebay...

usually you're looking at around a hundred bucks for a 30A continuous supply (new, although I picked mine up for fifty)...up to the $200 range for something that'll do 70-80 amps on peaks.

hhmm lets see...a mtx 6500d* blew out channels*, viper 2500d 2 alpine m301, an alpine 7997/ 2 sets of x-types comps, another alpine mvr-t420, and some older pioneer head unit a few crossovers, pg linedriver, pg 5 channel relay thingy and i think thats bout it here besides a pair of x type 12`s
