]on my amp i have a lpf freq level should i turn this all the way up with subwoofers in a ported box?what exactly does this freq level adjustment do or what is it for?

the lpf filters out high frequencies from the sub. this helps to reduce localization of the subwoofer, which helps the up front bass effect. lower frequencies are more difficult to localize. the filters also help to level the frequency response of your system by blending output limits of the subwoofer with the midrange speakers. 80hz is a good starting point of most systems for lpf for subs. start there and increase or decrease while listening to your system.

depends on how much power you have to work with.

look into the ssa dcon 12's if you want to stay with less power.
