Ampere Audio Subs any good?

I'm still debating on this one and the SSA ICON.

Icon is a damnn good sub (motor built/drilled in house, USA voice coil).

The Ampere AA 3.0 says it's build in house but doesn't say what part of the sub (if any) are done in house and the quick shipping date (2 business days) makes me believe that it might be "assembled in USA" (I'm curious as to what parts it uses)

Motors ship from international, baskets and soft parts are usa made and built.

Most if not all is put together here in houston.

Thanks ya, after thinking and thinking...........I decided to go with the FI Q 15. I want to make this my last sub with no regrets.

They want 700 for there 4.0 15.... There on dope nomex spiders an all.. Its got a hunk of steel though

I just placed an order on the SSA XCON 15 D2. You should see that. I opt out on the FI Q. The Xcon has always been my dream sub. Hopefully this will be the last woofer for me.

The xcon is a great sub. Probably my favorite sub I've ran. Sound signature and output is similar to the Ascendent Havoc.

they look decent to me.the copper coil is heavy but its a better conductor and exhibits more motor force. the spiders came a long way in the last 5 years. i think its not a bad design.. id recommend it..
