amp wiring question

I currently have a 200 watt amp powering all four of my speakers. Each door is getting about 45 but they can handle 100. If I get a 500 the each would be getting over 100 correct? If I get another 200 would that distribute 100 to each door since there will only be 2 doors on each amp or would it still break it up to 45 each? The amp in question is a Polk audio 200.4

but in reality the Polk Audio is only giving out this:

50 wrms x 4 @ 2ohms

35 wrms x 4 @ 4 ohms

100 wrms x 2 @ 4 ohms (bridged)

If you can get another amp just like the one you have i would bridge the channels together to get the 100 wrms x 2 @ 4 ohms....or if you cnt get it cheap sale the one you have now and go buy a BIG 4 channel that puts out 100 wrms x 4 @ 4 ohms.

dumb question, I have no idea how many ohms it is getting. I know how to set it up for my sub but not sure with door speakers.

the only other polk 4 channel is the 500. I am trying to stick with the same brand throughout.

im installing a amp and all is connected correctly it just when i install the amp jack i keep getting a red led protector light. do i need to ground my amp jacks? if so where? im installing into a 97 cutlass surpreme

maybe I am missing the obvious here but....how do I bridge a 4 channel amp?
polkaudio.com says the db5251's are 4 ohm component speakers. If your 4 channel is stable at 4 ohms bridged, and allows it (check product manual), simply take the positive from one channel and the negative from another. For instance

Chan1 Chan2 Chan3 Chan4

(+)-----(-)//(+)------(-)//(+)-----(-)//(+)------(-)

Keep in mind, some amps require weird wiring patterns. Check your amp's manual to be sure it is 1. Bridgeable 2. Stable bridged at 4 ohms and 3. the proper way to bridge your channels.
