Amp wiring question!

Ok I have a viper d300.1 amp and the owners manual says the dual + and - subout terminals of the d300.1 are paralleled internally and the combined load impedance should be taken into consideration when connecting multiple subwoofers

What exactly does this mean?

Says amp is a 1 channel class d mono sub amp .

So why do I have what seems to be 2 channels for a 1 channel amp?

Also is there any other ways I could make the sub connections?

I have 2 subs connected with the right side + going to the right side + on the amp and the right - going to the right - on the amp .

the left side + is conected to the + on the amp and the - is connected to the - on the amp.

Thanks in advance.

There is only one channel on the amp. There are 4 terminals because it is easier for some people to just wire it like a 2 channel amp, but in reality it is all being put into one channel. So the + and + are actually the same terminal, like wise for the - terminals. Just for convenience, you could just wire your subs to a mono load and wire them into one set of + and - terminals, doesnt matter which ones either.

Rated Power @ 4 ohm: 200 x 1

Rated Power @ 2 ohm: 300 x 1

Rated Power @ 1 ohm: N/A

The way I have it wired now its a 4 ohm load correct?

I am using 2 12 " 4 ohm svc subs if i connected both + speaker wires to one + on the amp and both - speaker wires to the same - on the amp wouldn't this lower the load to 2 ohm?

correct. Two 4 ohm subs wired in parallell will result in a 2 ohm load.

So you are saying that the way I have them wired right now is a 2 ohm load because the connections are paralleled internally?

Or are you saying my above statements in my previous post are correct?
