Amp/Subwoofer issue: no sound

Here is my setup (just purchased everything new), no sound from subwoofer:

Kenwood KDC-BT365U Reciever

Kenwood KAC-5001PS 300W @ 4ohm 500W @4ohm Reciever

10" Polk Audo DB1040 4Oohm @ 270 continuous Watts, 540 Peak Watts

Amp is receiving 14V, Ground is reciting 4-5V, Remote is receiving 6-7V.

Tested the RCA cables from the head unit, each give off reading with my DMM on AC setting

Speaker wires to the subwoofer have AC going to through while music is playing.

The head unit has the subwoofer set to on, frequency to pass-through, and gain to 0.

That's alot of voltage on the gound side! Check the amp ground. Make sure it's on solid, clean bare metal and tight also tight with full contact area on the amp side. Also what do you mean by gain set to zero? That may also be an issue but either way that's too much voltage on the ground should be 0 volts or maybe a couple tenths.
