Just looking for some more troubleshooting ideas before I declare that my amp is done for.
I have a single 10" rockford P1 subwoofer powered by the Eclipse EA4000 amp. I have never had any problems until the beginning of this past week. Turn on the car, the amp turns on, but no bass. I checked all fuses--2 30A @ the amp. & those are good. I have 0VDC at the subwoofer terminals. The sub is bridged. I also have a line level converter coming off the amp to power the factory sub deck in the rear of the car. Im pretty sure thats not working either. Im pretty sure that all outputs are tied together some how---meaning if I dont have one, I shouldnt have another--all or nothing. I dont want to come to terms that my amp is done---any other ideas?? Im not sure how reliable my voltage readings are either--I have a cheap craftsman multimeter--and that claimed to have read 0VDC input power--which I know is BS cuz my amp turns on!!
Any ideas would be helpful.
