Have you upgraded your electrical system?

Taramps Smart 3 or Taramps MD3k 2 ohm version would be my recommendation.

Alpine R-W12D2?.. hows your enclosure look and what are you lackng?

Even on a cheep azz hifonics.. if the enclosue is on point your system should perform.

Me thinks the box is the issue as usual.

Wired at 2 ohms that Hifonics amp is probably around 600rms.

140 amp fuse rating but power rating 2400 at 1 ohm.

Well if the amp is 1200W x 1 @ 2 ohms and the subs are a combined 1500w RMS @ 2 ohms, then wouldn't they be under powered by definition? I could be wrong about how I'm looking at that though. I'm not sure if just getting another amp is going to solve your problems...it may make more problems.

Did you have a budget in mind?
