Amp recommendation for 2 Alpine 12 type s's...

Okay so ive been pretty busy lately with life...dont really have the time to do the research as I once did...

Girlfriend is going to have 2 type s 12 (sws1222d the 2 ohm speakers) inch subs... I think they are like 300rms a piece...looking to get a good alpine amp to match that(I get discounts at work like half off...)

so im on alpines website... and I see the PDX1600.. that I can get for about $275

I also see the MRPM650 that I can get for about $180.

Box is a sealed dual 12...prefab... probably about 2.5 cubes or so...

Both the MRP-M650 and the PDX-1.600 would be a nice match.

Or the MRP-M850 and set the gains conservatively.

Back in the day I ran a jbl Bp1200.1 to a pair of Type S at 1 ohm and it took it fine and that was about 1300 watts.
