you may save some green and get computer case fans though. sometimes CA accessories tend to be overpriced because they say its "specialized"

i used an spl meter from a computer in a center console using a 5v regulator. it was neat, but no real point to it other than lights and moving parts.

The stinger temp switch was ~$25 on ebay and the regulator was about 3 at radioshack.

this panel came off a coolermaster case. i used a voltage regulator to get it to run on 12 and 5 volts like a power supply gives it.

it replaced a centel console tape player from a s-10

Nice looking rack man. Kind of funny, as I was looking through the first pages of the build I knew where all that hardware came from. I've been working on building some cabinets for my mom and stepdads place so I've been spending plenty of time at Homer Depot and Lowes.

If anyone's looking for some more cool cabinet hardware check out Rockler. They have a store near me (MI) but most of their sales are online. They have some great hardware and some AMAZING wood options. You might see some in my install eventually.

Are those VU meters? If so where id you find them? I've been looking all over for a set.

I got my amp rack's locking latches from Rockler. Good stuff there

look on newegg.com for computer case accessories. i believe the brand is cooler master. it has a 3.5mm in on it. you can run your rca's to a 3.5 jack and plug it in and watch your beat!

you can find some funky computer stuff to mod into useless show stuff.
