Amp problem

I have had a p-500 2ch for almost 4 yrs. This week it quit on me. I'm at a loss on what to do. The power light stays on but no power to the speakers. The protect light is flashing for a split second and going off. The levels are around halfway. Bass level on the HU is all the way down. Not really sure on what's going on. Looking for some insight.

could be anything. first retrace all the connections and then rcas. other than that, just go buy a new one. what sub are you running?

Oh. So the amp can't really be fixed or anything? I wanted to give it to my cousin. I was running some kicker cvrs.

Connections and all are fine. The amp will beat for a min the protect light hits and it shuts off.

wont know till you send it in to be inspected. but why bother, just get a newer better amp, cheap these days

Hes right, something is more then likey loose inside. thats a $100 amp. Not even worth fixing. It might need a rebuild and RF will more then likely be the only place to do it. They will charge you to much.

Its a Rockford Fosgate product, that's the first problem.
