Amp Problem

I recently purchased a brand new amp however when i hooked the amp up everything powered up on the amp however no sound comes out of the amp i waited to long to return the amp so i decided to take the cover off however i can find nothing burnt or anything on the amp everything looks fine im just wondering what the problem could be like i said the amp powers up and the green light is on but no sound

what brutus amp do you have? it may be lighting up but not powering on....some of those amps have the name that lights up on the top, and another led on the side to light up the maxxsoniks logo....then it has the power and protect light .....

or your rca jacks coming from your cd player could not be working ...

no man it was purchased from a store brand new in box and its the one with the led lights on the side and the green light stays on and it cant be anything to do with the deck because i hooked up my old 200 watt amp to see and t worked fine
