Ok, I was rewiring my XXX to my BX1500D, so two + into one and two - into one.

Before I did this, everything was fine, when I was hooking it back up, I had the positive in and I accidentally brushed the negative against the other positive...well, no more sound...it isnt the sub, because I tested it on another amp...and yes, I know it was stupid, but the car was on...think its time to get a new amp?

i wouldnt jump to conclusions on that, does the power light illuminate still? how bout the protection? and how long were they touching

open the amp and check for burnt chips, resistors and such...

yep, power light is still on and no protect light...it was only for a split second...and I couldnt see anything burnt inside, but I couldnt really tell...

you might have burnt out 1 of the channels i'm not quite sure though, just a thought.

it is monoblock...thats what I was afraid of...no combination produces sound...

yea...I took it apart...I think it is done...any suggestions for matching amps...I need a two channel-90x2@4 ohm, and something to power a 15" XXX...

Haven't installed it yet but with the flick of a switch, I can safely work on my stereo.
