Amp problem, need help ASAP

OK, So i installed a amp along with 2 15"s in my friends car. The only problem is that the amp only stays on when the deck is the radio & then the amp will turn off once you switch it to CD source. what could be the problem?

nope...i used the supplied blue wire from the scoshe kit.

Well the supplied wire is tapped into the power ant wire, hence why it works with the radio and shuts off when you change to CD mode. Need to trigger the amp off a different wire...

on your radio harness

you probably used the Power Antenna wire as your remote which is a SOLID BLUE wire

you need to use the REM wire which is BLUE with a WHITE stripe connect that to the blue scoshe wire that goes to the amp.

the power antenna wire is only live when the AM/FM radio is on, and turns off with CD/etc.
