just wondering if there is any way that an amp could interfere with radio frequencies? i have a rockford fosgate t1500-1tb amp pushing t 12 inch spl splw12's and whenever i kick the amp on from my remote it drowns the radio to sound like water being pushed through the speakers. its ran in a 2003 buick rendezvous with a crossover instead of aftermarket headunit. i have a 4 ga running the battery 0/1 ga for a ground and heavy duty rca's and remote wire. its a self install and wanted to know if there were any other problems like that with anybody else with the same amp or any similar bigger amps. the amp does have a frequency tuner on the back ranging from i believe 37Hz to 117Hz any answers or solutions will be appreciated

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
