I just remembered one thing that happened when i made some mdf baffles recently a few days ago. By mounting the speaker that 3/4 of an inch further i didnt realize my terminals touched the metal of the doorframe and when i went to turn my system on it just popped then turned off. I knew what it was immediately after doing it, and took out the speaker and wrapped the terminal in electrical tape and put it back in, all worked fine after that, but now im wondering if that could have blown a fuse and caused this heat issue.
If i was to blow a fuse wouldnt my amp not even turn on?
