2-bxi2607d strapped?

why is that? If i parallel the subs inside the box then series them to the amps i will get a final impedance of 2 ohms or 1 ohm per amp. What would be wrong with that?

One dual2......2amps....parallel sub....strapped.... .5 each amp

Other way........2ohm per sub

okay lets see.

- 2 bxi 2607 strapped to 2 dual 2 ohm subs= great design.

2 dual 2 ohm subs (series the voice coils)= 4 ohm per sub

parallel both sub = 2 ohm

2 bxi2607 strapped nominal load = 2 ohms.

Perfect match in my opinion.

thats exactly what i was thinking. just keep the gains down a bit and it wouldnt be a problem. 2-2607d is more than enough power to run 2-bls so i dont have to worry about getting more power i just wanna run a common chamber box and not have to worry about gain matching. plus i can get these amps pretty cheap.

That would be 1 ohm to each amp, not 2.

Noo...it would be 2ohm
Parallel sub - .5ohm

Series sub - 2ohm

Both strapped of course
Strapped means two amps powering the same set of speakers. In this case, if you parallel/series the subs together for a 2 ohm load, then hooking BOTH amps to this one 2 ohm load, then you are NOT going to get 2 ohms at EACH amp. 1 ohm nominal to each.

Whoops...i was meaning 1 sub
