Amp keeps going into protect mode

Hey guys. I'm new here, so please bear with me. I have a Jensen MPH4210 head unit, a Jensen 680 watt amp, and a Legacy Predator 1200 watt amp. My power wire is 4ga, with a 100 watt fuse about 6 inches from the battery. My ground wire is also 4 gauge, and I have both amps grounded at the same place to avoid a ground loop. I have Phoenix Gold Octane R 5 1/4's in the car, and I use the Jensen amp to push that. I use the Legacy to push a 10" Audiobahn I have in a bass tube. I have to have a bass tube becuause I have a convertible and my space is limited. Here's my problem: The Jensen amp works great and my mids in the car sound great. But as soon as I hook up my sub to the Legacy, it goes into protect mode. If I start the car with the sub not attached, the Legacy stays green until I hook up the sub. I have tried hooking up 3 different subs, and they all put the amp into protect mode. I think I have all the details covered, but I am ready to answer any questions. Thanks guys. I am ready to rip all this stuff out and put the factory stereo in, but I have over $1000 invested already. Please help. Thanks. J

The amp is very low quality. It may just be the ohm load. What ohm is your audiobahn sub.
