Amp for these subs...will it work?

A wholesaler near me is setting me up with a system and helping me wire it all up.

So far it consists of 2 12" Type R's in a Ported Box (3.5cubes, 35hz)

Anyways, I was looking to get an amp like a hifonics 1200x1 but he doesn't carry it

When I asked what he suggested he told me this amplifier

Keep in mind I do have a budget of about $200. Would this amp do well for the time being, Im getting it for 170 w/ a warranty. Or should I search elsewhere for an amp that will do a better job?
