amp for subs?

Hey guys im new here just wanted to say what up and ask you guys a question? I just blew my rockford amp I had a 501s im looking at the JL 500/1 but up till now all i have every had was rockford. right now i have two p3s at 4 ohms. What do you guys recommend? should i stick with rockford? my rockford was always getting hot too i want something very reliable with that can put out what it says .

The Memphis MCA300 would be a good amp for you it will do 480rms @ 4ohm

can someone tell me what the deal is i melted the connections and burnt my amp i have no clue what happened i have two subs wired in parralel with a 1 fd cap

Are the subs sigle voice coil or dual?

they are rockford fosgate p3s wired for 4 ohms

How did you set the gains?

What size power wire are you using?

4 guage and the gains were set at 50 percent or less i have had th amp for 2 years and it just now went what do you recommend for my next set up i was thinking bout going jl with subs and amp . i listen to loud music and i love 10 inch subs. i have two p3s hooked up and sound better then any two 12s i have heard for a daily driver recommendations please
