so i went to Best Buy and they installed it with a rockford 4 gauge kit. im not sure if they wired it 4 ohm or 2 ohm. pretty sure they did it 4 ohm since my friends sounds similar. any way i could tell what they wired it? would 2 ohm be too much for those subs, and would it be hard to change it to 2 ohm? thanks.

pull out a dmm and check, or you can take out the subs to see how they wired it. there's no audible difference whether it's wired to this ohm or that ohm. btw, how much did they charge you to just install the wires?

70 for the installaton

5 for materials

12 for battery terminal

100 for 4 gauge rockford wires ( the walmart kit i bought wasnt long enough)

wouldnt 2 ohm have more bass comapred to 4 ohm? it sounds great how it is now.

also, my front input for my ipod isnt working anymore. its not apple brand but its a headphone end at each end of the cable that plugs into the front of the cd player.
