You can still have DeLorean build one of these brand new for you... I'd do it if I had the cash...delorean
If you get a Ford Super Duty you get a live axle up front. At least you did through the 2010 models. I don't know about the 2011s.If we are gonna zero in on trucks, I have to say its sad that Ford and Chevy pickups have IFS. Dodge staying straight axle is the smartest thing they've done in a long time.
IFS is far superior in handling. however straight axles are stronger and easier to lift.If we are gonna zero in on trucks, I have to say its sad that Ford and Chevy pickups have IFS. Dodge staying straight axle is the smartest thing they've done in a long time.
He better have it Studded and the EGR delete or he will blow headgaskets. What exhaust, tuner ( and tunes ) and intake does he have ?Ford all the way. My brother has a 6.0 Powerstroke that dynoed at over 450hp and 850 ft lbs at the wheels and it only has intake, exhaust and tuner
The TTB Ford used has been top notch since day one. Also all F350's from i believe 80 and up that were 4x4 had Dana 60's. TTB was for F150 and F250. Chevy's suspension under the Z71's is by far the worst IFS ever, when i chain up to Z71's i always suggest front to front because they will break. If we are gonna zero in on trucks, I have to say its sad that Ford and Chevy pickups have IFS. Stronger, easier to lift, better load capacity, much better off-road capability. IFS is for street driving, which is 2wd anyway. Modern IFS trucks are designed to be a daily driver grocery getter that you only put in 4wd when the roads are covered in snow.IFS is far superior in handling. however straight axles are stronger and easier to lift.
Edit.He better have it Studded and the EGR delete or he will blow headgaskets. What exhaust, tuner ( and tunes ) and intake does he have ?

F150's came with a Dana 44 TTB and F250's came with a Dana 50 TTB. Fords Version isnt really hard to lift at all. A 4" lift at $600 bucks and then a day or weekend and your done. Drop brackets and springs in the front a blocks in the rear even though id much rather use springs. he does have that stuff done, I think the intake is a K&N but not 100% on that, I know the Exhaust is MBRP 5 inch turbo back with the upsized 4 inch down pipe, and the tuner is the new Edge EvolutionHe better have it Studded and the EGR delete or he will blow headgaskets. F350 is the 1-ton model. Dana 60's are 1-ton axles. Chevy and Dodge have traditionally used Dana 60's in their 1-ton trucks as well. The TTB Ford used has been top notch since day one. I was wondering how he got the little extra.he does have that stuff done, I think the intake is a K&N but not 100% on that, I know the Exhaust is MBRP 5 inch turbo back with the upsized 4 inch down pipe, and the tuner is the new Edge Evolution
Lift blocks should not even be considered imo. Definitely nothing over 2 inches.Edit.
