Ok...so what is everyone's opinion of American Bass as a brand/company overall? I personally know several people with AB products and experience, and they all rave about them, but the forums seem to be all over the place. I got to check out some of their gear today personally at a shop, and I must say that the fit and finish of their products seems to be top notch, knowing of course that this has very little to do with actual performance/longevity. The shops installer was praising them a lot though, and they carry several other high end brands. I guess I am just trying to get to the bottom of the AB hate that seems to be scattered around. Do the people saying these things have any real experience with the products, or is this just another attack of the elitist brand snobs? I have no vested interest in this either way. I am just a curious bass head that is looking at potentially buying some AB products in the near future. If it is crap, then I will move on. Just looking for some clarity.
