american bass vs sundown

How does an american bass xd3000 stack up quality-wise to a sundown saz-1500d? Any help would be appreciated.

IIRC the XD series amps do a bit less than rated power. Overall not a bad amp and Bob@ AB is good people. Considering you probably can't call up Bob and get something fixed like you can with Jake, I'd say that Sundown would be better for you.

Overall both amps are great tho, I've ran both brands and haven't had a problem with each.

Power wise you probably couldnt tell a difference between the 2 by ear

My problem is that I have 2 saz1500d's, and 1 AA havoc 18. I am getting ready to put in another havoc, and the other saz, but discovered that my space back there will get eaten up very quickly. So, I am wanting to possibly trade my 1500's for something, and a guy on another forum wants to trade his xd3000 for my saz-1500d's. Any opinions would be very welcome.

yea thats nto a very good trade at all.

2 sundowns = 4kw

1 xd = 2500 watts

you could run a single SAZ 3000d

there was some saz3000ds in the classified for 650 each

i sold my 1500d in less than a week @ 325. Sell both of them and buy the saz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Jake has a lot of good feedback...and is a very good person.... he is trying to get affordable good products out there and standing behind his products...your probally much better off with the Sundown

Also, how is mtx doin? I have heard good things about the ta92001. Ebay prices are pretty good on them right now too.
