American bass HD's

I came across them on the new american bass webpage. Anyone running them? What is the rms on them? I did some searching on here but no info! They look like the audioque hdc's.

I would like to try 4-15's in my nissan titan! any info would be great

Just because they look like the HDC3's doesn't mean they perform like them, looks aren't everything.

Do a search, a guy recently did a build on 4 12's.

Yes i have a shop My wholesaler contacted me about american bass, they sent me ab's woofer lineup but i can not find any power ratings on the hd's.

RMS is 1500 watts...but they can take around 2000

i am ab dealer. i talk to bob weekly. the hd's are rated at 1500 rms. that is very conservative. we had a vehicle at sbn this year w/ 2 15's in 8.5 cubs w/ ia 40.1 do 152. we also have a late 80s ex cab s10 w/ 4 hd 12" w/ 2 ab 175.1's do 152 at sbn. these subs will take a pounding. the rebuild kits are cheaper than most spl subs. there are a lot of these subs under numerous dif. brands that look very simular. there are many differences from brand to brand. the original design was from dd. forgive me for rambling

The hds from both company's are EXACTLY the same. I was @ the Beta booth @ ces a few years ago and listened to Leon from Audioque discus this woofer line with Wenkui Lu. Bob from AB had just left. After them beta offered to sell me the same design. BOTH are VERY good designs and my good friend had both brands torn down side by side last week and they were identical in every way. Bob doesn't lie about the woofers being different though AND offers a warranty. Support Bob, and support honest buisiness.
