Am I going to kill my sub?

Hey guys. I drive a ford ranger regular cab (no rear or bucket seats). And I recently put a Soundstream T4-12 into it.

Here's my dilemma. The recommendations for this sub are a 2.0 FT cu box ported and I probably have it running in a .75cu FT Sealed enclosure. It's running through a modest 150w amp at 2ohms and I don't ever really max it out. I dropped by a friend's audio shop (he's probably the best known car audio installer in Olympia where I live) and I value his opinion a lot. He told me that I was probably going to kill the sub. Is this true?

Either, you're friend's not very good with speakers, or you need to clarify what "It's running through a modest 150w amp at 2ohms and I don't ever really max it out" it is. Amplifier Gain? Head unit volume? If you have the amp gain down to were you're not clipping, then no you won't kill your sub.
