What Role Exactly does the Alternator Play in car audio if the power is being drawn from the battery and the alternator charges the battery?? THNX FOR THE EXPLANATION!!

You just answered your own question. The alternator charges the battery that gets power drawn from the car audio setup. Not having enough power strains your alternator and doesnt feed the correct power your car stereo demands which basicly kills your alternator over time.

lets call it a generator it creates the current your car needs to run its systems and provides additional juice to charge the battery. When a car is stock the alt. is sized so it is large enough to run all the the stuff the car came with and to have some head room. Technically nothing should run off the battery while the car is running, but since were all crazy for this stereo shit we somtimes rely on our battery to provide additional current than what the alternator can provide
