Okay I can't figure out how to remove a shaft style radio. It's an old pioneer. I removed the knobs, but I can't figure out how to get the unit out. I tried pushing it in and that didn't work. I tried pulling it out and that didn't work? Am I doing something wrong? Did I forget a step? Let me know thanks.

Nevermind I figured it out. Too hard to explain but I had to pop off two square panels that sit around the knob shafts so that I can get at two hidden nuts.
