Alternator Question...

Ok, I'm in the process of getting a new car. I'm switching from a 99 Grand Prix, probably to a 99 Accord....

I had a 160 Amp alt on my GP, should I take this off and try to sell it? Or, how different would the alternator for an accord be compared to my GP? I'm guessing that they would be very different, but I'm not for sure.. Either way, I'm gonna end up buying a new alt...

If anyone could give me input... that would be greatly appreciated...

more than likely they wont line up without some major mods done to the mounting brakets but im not too sure but realy i would sell it and there you got most if not all the $$ you need for the new alt.

FYI, 6th generation alternators are the worst, will die as soon as you put a 1k+ wrms system in it. Think about upgrading it.

Yeah, I figured that...., I'll probably just go to a junkyark and find an alt for my GP.....
