Looks like a Power steering or AC pump...Not your alternator. If it is...that is the WIERDEST alternator i have ever seen in my life.

yeah that's not your alt lol check on the other side of the engine. the alt will have some slits where you can see the copper windings

its probably on the bottom of your engine. look underneath the ac compressor in that area. its on that side of the engine, just lower

see the belt thats on that thing? look where the other size of the belt is connected to and it should be your alt lol...

in some vehicles they put it in a really inconvenient place and you have to remove your front tire to get to it

The allternator should be right by your right tire towards the bottom

look toward the firewall on the bottom. thats were mine was on my neon.
