Alpine's Type R Box...

I was in the audio store today making a payment on my upgraded sub system, and the sales guy in there highly suggested that I take a look at getting the Alpine ported box made to specs for the 12' type R I was wondering if anyone here has that box? i would think it would sound decent, but from what i have read, r's need at least 2 cuft. to reach their full potential, so the box might be a little on the small side.

custom ftw, got a guy who built a box for my premiers whose local to us IL guys. If your interested drop me a PM, normally boxes are around $80-120 depending on some things.

build your own man, its not hard to do and in the long run you'll apreciate it. Plus it'll cost 20 bucks or less if you have the supplies and maybe a few hours of your time.

Yeah thats what I was origanally going to do was have a coustom built box, but curiosity was setting in about that alpine box. You know when your in the store and you are checking stuff out. I think I will pass on the Alpine box ad stick with my origianl game plan. Thanks guys.

if you have a shop build it you should probably still get plans from someone on the board for them, they will probably **** it up if you dont
