I'm running my X (10") at 1kwrms, but its still not loud enough for me. It has amazing sound quality and i always hear how they're good sealed, which mine is. But would it be worth my while to port it? I have no experience with porting but i've read plenty. im just wondering if it will be a significant enough change to be worth the effort. Im also thinking of reverse mounting because it would look sick. I dont see many people doing that. let me know your thoughts thanks.

The 10" version would work pretty well in 1.25-1.5 cubes ported tuned around 28-32hz. It will gain a good amount of output down around 25-40hz if that's what you're looking for.

I wouldn't port the 12" version but the 10" should work fine ported.

Based on their parameters. Just because subs have the same version name does NOT mean they have identical parameters.

As far as reverse mounting, I think it looks lame and you have the chance of hearing mechanical noise. If you think it looks cool, try it reverse mounted on your current enclosure and listen for any mechanical noises that bother you.
