only one mid works rite now, but it does get pretty darn loud with 100w (probably a little more than 100w) and they werent even in a proper install. i have yet to turn it all the way up so i'm pretty sure they could get a good bit louder in a good install.

omg i love the dls. its so gorgeous, theres a pic or two in my worklog. hand down best purchase ive made.

I have the Alpine Type-X SPX-177R's. I love them, they sound good even off of only deck power. I know, I know, deck power, 26 watts RMS to each, but for now, I'm satisfied. The local stereo shop around here has the 177A's in stock and on the sound board. With more power, they sound even better because there is more midbass. I would suggest an external amp to power these, deck power sounds really good, but can be much improved with an amp. I bought my system as a whole and didn't wanna spend the money right away on an amp for the mids.

Amp: Alpine MRD-M1000 (according to birth sheet, puts out 1108 watts RMS @ 14.4V)
