Alpine type X question

hey guess i had a really fast and simple question probably a no brainer for most ppl in the world except me!

okay i have been looking at alpine type X lately and i noticed on there site they only have the alpine type X duel 4ohm. what i was wondering does this mean this sub doesn't run in 1ohm mode? oo i am loking at the 12in version of the sub

and my question is basicaly is it better for a sub to be run in 1ohm or 4ohm or rather 2ohm as it is with this sub.

anywways can someone help clear this up for me. i was also wondering b/c i have a type R duel 2ohm so i am runnig it in 1ohm right now and i seen this type X duel 4ohm and i was jsut curois i mean. and o do they make the X in duel 2ohm b/c i don't see it on there site.

what kinda amp u have, is it 2 ohm or 1ohm stable??

the amp i have is an orion 1200d

that amp i beleive is 1 ohm stable, the coil configuration if for matching what ohm load ur amp can handle... so ur amp runs at full potential... i would recommend 1000rms or more to a type x.....

aww i c. thansk man you rock and thanks for that website it is definately a keep! thanks again! o hey is there such a thing as a type X 2x2ohm? i have looked on there site and ebay and such a thing does seem to exist or they just didnt make it yet lol! thanks again for helping me out in this little issue!
