hey i would lke to see why you guys prefer the Type R? My roomate who is an installer wants to upgrade to the type x or p3 and hates type rs (personaly i like them) what kind of power do they need and are they really worth it?

type x is rated 1k-3k

600w is a tease for it, and not preferred.

type r's get loud also

yea i dont really understand what his philosophy is. I havent been paying attention to audio as much as i used to, to try and argue with him. But i think hes biased. he thinks the P2's are just like type r's and the p3s are comparable to typex's. he has 2 type e's in a sealed box now.

yea well i dont know. Hes an installer at best buy. Hes a great installer but when it comes to product knowledge its only best buy product that he likes. he hated kickers untill he heard my CVRs, and he doesnt even know of other brands like RE, DD, or anything of the sort.

he runs type E, sounds like a tard to me. Wouldnt trust any installer with the lowest line of subs from curcuit city.

YOu get Type R or FiSSD and school him and his type E LOL.
