alpine type s

Does anyone have the Alpine Type S? Does it sound good. I need it to replace a broken sub in a JL sthealthbox for the 2001 Toyota Tundra.

have heard them and honestly i don't like them. if giong alpine the type r is the way to go imo.

if you must go alpine then ill third them above me. look around more if price is whats holding you back

I'm not really sure if that sub can fit in the stealthbox. I'm worried about the mounting depth and the size of the box. It's about .65 cubic feet.

Well I checked the alpine website and it can take a box volume of .5 cubic feet. Now I have to worry about the mounting depth and powering this sub.

Do you guys recommend any good amp for this sub? Also I'm going with a new HU with this sub. It's an Pioneer DEH-P6900UB.
