Alpine Type S

I was just wanting to know if anyone has the Alpine Type S front and/or rear speakers. If so what do you think of them. Just bought pair of SPS-460A 2 ways for front and SPS-690A 3 ways for rear brand new for $130 off a friend. Blew my factory speakers up!....Figured for that price couldn't really go wrong, but was wanting some input on em.

I have 6.5 alpine type S coax. They are amped up quite nicely and they sound great. Very clean highs and good mid bass. Never complained about these puppies.

they are decent line of alpine the highs are kinda harsh imo. just depends on your deck if you have the biult in crossovers so you can tame the highs a bit let me know what you think when you get installed good luck

i have the 5x7 component set. very nice, a bit harsh at times, but id recomend them

i had the coaxial speakers...i hated them ..got harsh..never got loud...i never amped them though..so it mite depend on ur deck
