alpine type S wiring

I have 2 10" alpine type S DVC subs, and a Power Acoustik A1000DB amp

1 ohm stable,1 Channel, 450W @ 4 Ohm RMS, 800W @ 2 Ohm RMS, MAX: 1000W. Can someone tell me how to wire this to get the best out of the subs?

before anyone can tell you anything, their gonna have to know if your subs are dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm.

thanks that help, oh the subs are 4ohm DVC, but i have 1 other question. How should I wire it, in series or parallel? I would guess parallel to make the subs at 1 ohml cuz the amp at 4 ohm x 1 channel is 450watts but at 1 ohm x 1 channel its 1000 watts. Am I right?

yep...id go parallel for sure.
