Well I work for an Alpine Dealer so I get everything cost+discount thats why Im looking at all Alpine stuff, I pretty much am thinking I will be ditching the Alpine Coax and going with the NEW Type R 6.5 Components and leaving the Type R Coaxs in far rear....Just gotta choose an amp...

Do they give you a mad discount on the PDX-2.150? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

Discounts are pretty good the Sundown 100.2 and PDX 2.150 are within a good range of each other, what do you think would be better for the R components? Ever since Ive used the Sundown Amps Ive been hooked, never really heard a Pdx amp on components...

There are a couple in depth reviews on the PDX amps over at the diymobileaudio.com forum.

I was just wondering how they compared the PDX to the Sundown Amps...I know the 150.2 is going obviously have more power than the 100.2 but soundwise/build what would be better?

That's going to be purely subjective on your part.

My advice: if both are set similarly, I doubt you're going to hear much, if any, sonic differences coming from your speakers. The sole advantage of the PDX would be more output power (well, and smaller size if that's important).

Well I got to experience the NEW type R comps for a min this morning and they did sound pretty good but IMO they werent LOUD enough for me...but they were only being sent 60WRMS...
