combining pg rsds and the tb 6x9 woofer

Would this be a good idea? Using the tbs for mid-bass duties? Would this, in theory, sound "good"? Or will these speakers play too similarly? I want bass in the cabin, but I will also have a healthy substage.

what kind of car is it?

i know my rsd's fill the cabin of my Scion tC with plenty of midbass(high passed at 63hz/12db slope). i have a healthy sub stage as well and even have it low passed at 50hz/12db slope. the low end is amazing(so is the rest though as well)!

it's a large to mid-size sedan. and i'm a fan of rear fill.

If you're going to have a sub stage already present, then I'd say you'd probably be wasting time with the TB 6x9 subs for rear fill duty. Pair the RSd's with a set of Pioneer REV 6x9s and you should be in great shape.

^ i'm with him! and you will be amazed at how much mid-bass the rsd's are capable of. it's seriously a lot of midbass.
