Alpine Type S Component speakers (Rear Deck)

I was recently told by a newer member on these boards that these should be put upfront in my doors, and not the rear deck.. Hopefully he is wrong, because crutchfield said they would install for my rear deck and not my doors, hence why i bought them for the rear deck. If im missing something, someone tell me, because i payed a little bit for these. Anyways thanks for the help!

they can go where ever u want to put them... but if thats the only comps i had i would put em up front...

components usually are a better choice for teh Front stage.

a coax is ok for the rear.

and depending on your car. you should have no problem putting thoes speakers in front.

im kind of at a loss here, since i bought Polk DB600 for my doors, and the alpines for my rear deck.. im already kind of out of budget already, so im a little dissapointed.

Man, for that price at Crutchfield you could have gotten some much better speakers.

I agree that components should be used up front, either doors, pillars, sails, kick panels, etc.

You can put them in the back too though, whatever you want.

I think im going to return them.. Not sure though.. Depends if if i hit the 30 day mark yet.

LOL. If you got some low end coaxes for the front why would you make the rear so much better?

You should put those polks in the back and the Alpines up front.

well i could return the polks then.. keep the alpines up front. i just bought a new pair of 6x9's

it looks as though the polks have way better reviews then the alpines.. so i could either A.) Return the alpines.. or B.) Return the polks

then use the 6x9's i just ordered for the rear..

which set of speakers should i return the alpine or the polk?
