Alpine type r recone choices?! help!

so I have a newer model alpine type r 10" and i was wondering what my options are for reconing it because the coil is completely shot. I tried to return it but it was past the warranty and now i have no other choice. What are the best possible ways of going about my situation?

Corey (SPL) can usually set a guy up with a pretty good price for recone kits. New ones are way more expensive than a set of soft parts.
