i had a friend who had a 12" 7500 and i used to have 2 10" 7500's. i now have a 12" type r and i think it gets a lot louder and sounds a whole lot better then the 7500's. all these subs were in a ported box though. i would definately recommend the type r's.

but the type r's if fed around 1K a piece is extremely hard to beat for the $120 you pay for one new shipped...
