Alpine Type R or HX2.. which is right for me??

hey.. I hae asked this before, but i always get mixed up answers... now i have heard both the HX2 and the Type R.. I have always been kinda set on the HX2's but someone was talking the type R's up alot to me, so i was just wondering what everyone thinks about it.. either way i am going to be running like 900-1000 watts. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.. thanks alot

1st off if its 1000watts to 1 sub it wont work, they will probably blow. The punch hx2 is rated at 500rms, 1000max, type r's are probably less. But go with the hx2

If its a choice between the two I would take the HX2's. Ported, they sound muddy in a sealed box.

yeah.. i was thinking of 2 Hx2's.. when i was saying that i wanted 1000 watts i meant that i would put however many subs it takes to add up to 1000 watts. like with the alpines it would be 3.. but thanks alot

personally i think type Rs sound like poop. Go with the hx
