alpine type R motor It had a fried coil so I started to Dissamble the cone Thinking I would get a re cone kit from Fi got into it.. realised it was to much work. All I have done is pulled up the glue and broke the surround loose and loosened up the 4 phillips bolts in it. I only have 2 I will search for the other

Here is part of the surround I pulled up, used a blow dryer so the clue would come undown.. Came up fairly easy

voice coil size? I thought either the 12 or 15 was a weird size but not sure

If I knew how to take off the basket. Yes I could try and figure out how to and yeah sure ill post up a pic of the motor.

you have to rip the cone out to get to motor bolts

are those the 4 philips I removed I honestly have NO clue on how to Dissamble a woofer. all I have done is un attched the surround and Removed the 4 philips. that surround the spider

No there are bolts that hold the spider spacer down and under the spider are the bolts for the basket. U have to cut the spider out

Well I cute the spiders out like you said. So now I remove those 5 bolts in the picture?

Correct. And that is looking like the motor I need. Take the bolts out and then pry the basket off

and then measure the gap or coil and tell me what size it is

the bolts look like there glued in and there not comming off easy is it safe to use a blow dryer to heat up the glue and maybe break it loose?

Coil is 1.9" id its an odd size coil. Robot underground sells then

and then measure the gap or coil and tell me what size it is

I prolly need to measure the Gap the coil is comepletely unraveled what gap are you refering to? the diameter of the metal oval in the middle of it?
