alpine type r jumper?

i just got a 12" type r and it is a dual 2 0hm model.i was just wondering if it was supposed to comes with jumpers? i couldnt find any in the box. also do i need the jumpers? i havent ever heard of them before. thanks

No you do not need the jumpers you can just use speaker wire or if you are running 4 speaker wires that works too.

Well the jumpers are suposed to come with the sub. Did you buy the sub "new". Also im not sure, but I think you can use regular speaker wire, but im not sure.

Go to Radio Shack and buy "Banana Plugs" to make your own jumpers. Or speaker wire works the same.

well i found the plugs in the trash. i must have accidentaly thrown them away while i was picking up the trash inside of the box. i got it installed and it sounds great. thanks for all the help

a jumper is just a piece of wire to go from one terminal to another. those type-r's are dual voice coils, so you need to join terminals together to get the ohms you want.
