Would ALPINE MRP-F250 4 2 Channel Amp work well with Type R 6.5 component speakers and tweeters?

Yes, it would certainly work, but not ideally. That amps will only provide less than half of rated power. 100-150w rms per channel would be ideal for those comps. It's still going to be a lot better than HU power.
