cross them over where ur sub is crossed over at... if ur sub is crossed at 80... cross the 6x9's over at 80

exactly... ok let me make it clearer... if your sub has a Low-Pass Crossover set at 80 hz, set your High-Pass Crossover for your 6x9's at 80 hz.....

yeah but the highs aerent my problem, the spkers have great highs, just when i put it on normal, like hp + lp they start 2 sound $hitty

probably because of your settings on your head unit + your amp settings... cross them over at least 50... since you have a sub i'd cross them over where ur sub is... let ur sub handle everything below the crossover frequency... don't turn LOUD on your head unit... and do not put the bass boost on the amp or the head unit... and do not turn the gain all the way up... level match with ur head unit

nah man i dun care bout gettin any kind of bass at all from my 6x9s its just when i blew one sub and was waiting to get another i wanted some bass, it dont matter now i guess... im hooking the 6x9s back up to the HU i supose??or should i keep it hooked up to the amp?

If you dont care about any bass then just run them at high pass at about 150 or more. I know when I had my kicker 6x9s the vocals would get pretty loud and clear. The bass would distort tho.

sounds to me like you are clipping the crap out of your amp. Turn the gain down to 1/2 or lower, turn the bass down to 0 on your head unit, and then try turning it up a little. And yes, if you have a sub, set the highpass at something close to what your sub is lowpassed at. These guys are trying to help you, but i don't think you are trying to listen.
