Depends on how much room you have and how much output you want.

I've tried mine sealed and they were fine. (1^3 sealed and 1kw rms each) Actually liked them quite a bit.

i have a tcaab box, i think its like 3.5 cu ft tcaab made for type r's 35 hz

lol ya def not the best for SQ...I think you should just tune low around 30-32 Hz and you will be good
